Doublebase Gel is a treatment gel that helps to ease dry or chapped skin conditions. Perfect for those suffering from eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and other dry skin conditions, Doublebase Gel helps to lock moisture into the skin, keeping it soft and hydrated.

For best results, apply Doublebase Gel to affected areas of skin regularly and as often as required.

Smooth the gel over the skin using gentle strokes, stroking in direction of hair growth, do not rub in vigorously.

Allow time for the gel to soak in if necessary.

You can use Doublebase Gel before or after bathing or showering to help to condition your skin and stop it from drying further.

Like all medicines, Doublebase Gel can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

This product has been specially designed for use on dry or problem skin.

However, in rare cases it can cause skin irritation (mild rashes) or allergic skin reactions on extremely sensitive skin.

These rare effects tend to occur during or soon after the first few uses.

Stop using this gel and tell your doctor, nurse or pharmacist:

• If your skin condition seems to look or feel worse.

• If any of the side effects get serious, or you notice any other side effects not mentioned in this leaflet.

• If this product is accidentally swallowed, its oily ingredients may cause diarrhoea. If this happens:

• Treat the symptoms as you would deal with any case of diarrhoea.

• Drink plenty of water.

• Do not attempt to cause vomiting.

• Reporting of side effects:

• If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

• This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.

• By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.

Do not use Doublebase Gel if you are allergic to isopropyl myristate, liquid paraffin, or any of the other listed ingredients.

If you experience any irritation while using this product, stop use immediately.

If irritation continues, speak to your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Doublebase Gel contains paraffin, you should take care when using this product alongside dressings or fabrics, such as clothes or bedsheets, as this can increase the flammability of these items.

If you notice any side effect, then you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist.

This product is a medicine; make sure to speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you have an underlying medical problem or are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy.

If your symptoms get worse or continue after taking this product, contact us or your doctor.

If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor or our pharmacist before taking this product.
