Description
Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the lips and face. Apply a thin layer of cream to the infected area 5 times a day at 4 hourly intervals. Apply as soon as possible, preferably during the earliest stages. Continue treatment for at least 4 days, if healing has not occurred, treatment can be continued for up to 10 days.
Caution: Do not apply to mucous membranes. not recommended for use in immunocompromised patients. If lesions are still present after 10 days consult your pharmacist or doctor.
