MacuShield Gold is an eye care supplement from the original Macushield product, (with its patented, synergistic formulation of meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin), coupled with capsules containing zinc and other vitamins suggested by AREDS2.
Macular pigments (lutein, zeaxanthin & meso-zeaxanthin) are believed to provide the eyes with ultra-violet (UV) protection which may reduce symptoms of glare.
NEW: The MacuShield Gold formulation is now combined into one capsule type (rather than 2 different types as before), 3 capsules taken daily.

L-Ascorbic Acid,capsule shell (gelling agent: bovine gelatin, humectant: glycerol, colours: red iron oxide E172, titanium dioxide E171), d-alpha tocopherol, bulking agent: sunflower seed oil, marigold extract (lutein, meso-zeaxanthin, zeaxanthin), zinc sulphate monohydrate, thickener: silicon dioxide, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin and copper sulphate anhydrous
