Description:

Biotene toothpaste helps provide essential tooth protection for dry mouth sufferers. Biotene toothpaste contains no Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). Biotene’s low-foaming formula is gentle on dry, irritated mouths. Learning how to brush your teeth properly is the first step to maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

How to use the product:

Two Minutes, Twice a Day. To brush your teeth correctly, spend at least two minutes using a recommended technique, which includes 30 seconds brushing each section of your mouth (upper right, upper left, lower right and lower left), both morning and night.

Ingredients:

Active Ingredients : Sodium Fluoride .
Other Ingredients : Water, Sorbitol, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, PEG-8, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Xanthan Gum, Flavour,  Sodium Saccharin, Sucralose, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Hydroxide.

Side effects:

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare.
However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including:
  • Rash .
  • Itching/Swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat) .
  • Severe dizziness .
  • Trouble breathing .
  • This is not a complete list of possible side effects.

Hazards and cautions:

  • Do not swallow.
  • In case of intake of fluoride from other sources consult a dentist or doctor.
  • Sensitive teeth may indicate an underlying problem which needs prompt care by a dentist.
  • See your dentist as soon as possible for advice.
  • You should not use Biotene if you are allergic to it.
  • If you are using a prescription toothpaste, tell your dentist or doctor if you have kidney disease.
  • Ask a doctor before using Biotene if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Do not use Biotene in a child without the advice of a doctor or dentist.
  • Some forms of fluoride topical should not be used in children of certain ages.
