Adults, the elderly and children over 2 years old:

Apply a small amount on a cotton bud directly on the tooth cavity as required.

It is advised to see a dentist if you have toothache that lasts more than 2 days.

To ease toothache while waiting for an appointment:

Take over the counter medicines to help relieve pain
Try rinsing your mouth with salt water (children shouldn’t try this)
Eat soft foods, like yoghurt or scrambled eggs, and try to avoid chewing with the sore tooth
