Gaviscon Advance Chewable Mint Tablets are a treatment designed to ease indigestion and heartburn. Just chew one or two tablets and swallow them for fast indigestion and heartburn relief on the go, without needing to measure out liquids or swallow with a drink.

As a legal requirement, we must determine the medicine we supply to you is appropriate for your personal use. When purchasing any medicinal product, you are agreeing to use the medicine as per the manufacturer’s patient information leaflet. Take 1 – 2 Gaviscon Advance Tablets up to 4 times a day, after meals and at bedtime.

Chew the tablets thoroughly before swallowing.

Do not take more than 8 tablets a day.

If your symptoms haven’t improved after 7 days, speak to your doctor.

Each tablet contains :  sodium alginate 500 mg and potassium bicarbonate 100 mg.

Other ingredients: Mannitol, Calcium carbonate, Macrogol 20,000, Magnesium stearate, Aspartame, Mint flavour no. 3, Acesulfame potassium, Copovidone

Like all medications, Gaviscon Advance Tablets can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

If you experience any of the following side effects, you may be experiencing an allergic reaction and should stop use and seek immediate medical help:

•  Rash.
• Difficulty breathing .
• Dizziness .
• Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
• If you experience any other side effects while taking this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

• Gaviscon Advance Tablets should not be given to children under the age of 12, unless advised to do so by your doctor.
• Do not take these tablets if you’re allergic to sodium alginate, potassium bicarbonate, or any of the other listed ingredients.
• These tablets contain sodium (salt), potassium, and calcium, so be sure to speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you are on a low sodium, potassium, or calcium diet.
• This product contains aspartame, which is a source of phenylalanine, keep this in mind if you suffer with phenylketonuria.
• in a cool, dry place which is below 30 degrees C.
• Do not take this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• This product is a medicine; make sure to speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you have an underlying medical problem or are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy.
• If your symptoms get worse or continue after taking this product, contact us or your doctor.
• If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor or our pharmacist before taking this product.
• If you suffer from any allergies, ask your doctor or our pharmacist if this medicine is right for you.
