Savlon Antiseptic Cream 30g
Supplied as a single 30g tube. Savlon Antiseptic Cream helps prevent infection and aids natural healing in cuts and grazes. The antiseptic cream can also be used for insect bites and stings, sore or chapped skin, blisters, burns and spots as well as for minor sunburn. Savlon Antiseptic Cream contains chlorhexidine and cetrimide which are both antiseptics that kill germs. Savlon Antiseptic Cream should be applied directly to the affected
area of the skin. Ideal to have in first aid kits.
Savlon Antiseptic Cream is suitable for both adults and children to cleanse and reduce the risk of infection in minor wounds, cuts and grazes, and superficial burns.
Savlon Antiseptic Cream can be used to cleanse and treat minor skin problems, including spots & blackheads. It can also be used to prevent infection in the affected areas.
Do not use repeatedly or for long periods of time.
- Wash hands thoroughly before and after use.
- Wash the affected area of skin under running water and dry thoroughly.
- Apply the cream gently using your fingers or gauze.
- For extra protection use a plaster or dressing, but burns and scalds are best left uncovered.
What are the side effects of Hospital Antiseptic (Topical)?
- swelling, pain, warmth, redness, oozing, or other signs of infection;
- blistering or crusting; or.
- severe irritation, itching, or burning.
Adults and children: Apply the cream to the affected area 2 or 3 times a day. If symptoms do not go away talk to your doctor. If anyone accidentally swallows some: Drink plenty of milk and see a doctor if you get irritation.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions. Parahydroxybenzoates may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
